NRO verdict: PPP CEC meeting underway

ISLAMABAD: A crucial meeting of the Central Executive Committee of ruling Pakistan People’s Party was underway here with President Asif Ali Zardari in chair.

The CEC is discussing the situation arising after the Supreme Court verdict on the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

The CEC will take some key decision in the meeting, PPP sources said.

Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan who has been restored to the party membership recently also attending the meeting. Aitzaz called on President Asif Ali Zardari and discussed various issues with him before the party meeting, sources said.
